What will be CLAT-2025 exam pattern:-

The exam mode in which this examination is conducted is pen-paper based. This exam duration is of 120 minutes and the total questions to attempt are 120 which are of one marks each. Marking of this exam is +4 for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong one.
This exam is divided into various sections like English Language, Current Affairs which included General knowledge, Quantitative Techniques which is elementary level maths, Logical Reasoning. The total number of questions is equal to total number of marks. There will be 28-32 questions in English, 35-39 questions in Current Affairs, 13-17 questions in Maths and Logical reasoning 28-32 questions.
Tips and Tricks to prepare for this exam:-
- Aim for a college and score:- First is to select a good college, where you want to get into and what percentage it requires to get selected. Aim for that score. As different factors are responsible for the selection of a right college according to person and their capabilities and preferences. Also considering the fact that how much effort you can do and how much potential you know you have. Answer all these questions and then decide in which college you want to go and try doing that hardwork which can help you in scoring that much score for CLAT. Prepare yourself so that you can get that much score, neither more nor no less.
- Find good and limited resources:- Stick the syllabus of the CLAT examination on your study table and prepare the syllabus well. Find yourself right resources online, offline and when you go to coaching. Remember keep the resources list small and covering a holistic syllabus, don’t try to do everything. Make a good strategy with smart work and then follow it will hardwork. The focus should also not in learning only new topics everyday but it should also about knowing the importance of revision. Revise what you study periodically. The time and way you can decide. Like some people do it Daily, some in weekends some in every 10-15 days ratio. It’s important to revise so that you can remember it for long-term and how much time you will revise, there are less chances to forget. Find good books, videos, pyqs, Sample questions and notes from toppers and self-study books.
- Make a time table:- when there is an exam in a year which will land you to your dream on “merit basis” it needs discipline, being organized and good time management abilities as there are many subjects to study. So make a time table, according to what are you strengths and weak subjects. Give hard subjects more time. A lot many times we start to avoid hard subjects which is not right in anyway as the fear will increase with time and then it will be so hard to deal during exams. Prepare a good time table if you find it hard to stick to consistency and discipline or what can be done is to write in a paper what you want to do today, like a to-do list and marking a tick sign as it gets completed. This trick always helps in giving us enough motivation to study and not break time. Time table should include every subject in syllabus and should not include anything extra for this one year time period. Don’t segregate the focus on many things. There are so many fraudulent coaching centers too so never take a prompt action. Choose it wisely. - Read newspapers daily: – CLAT is seen in focusing now on the GS part and reading newspaper is very important. This will help you in preparing the current affairs and improves the reading skills. Reading will help you in writing answers in better way.
- Solve PYQS: – Solving previous year question papers is a very important this to do for every exam. Solve all last year’s paper as more as you can. This will build your habit of focusing and practicing will give you a mental toughness to sit at a place and solving it in time.
