- Manufacturing sector growth to 12-14 percentage:- The initiative of Make in India wanted to focus largely on the manufacturing industry of our country and making our country more self-reliant when it comes to making materials ourselves. This will decrease the import.
- Manufacturing jobs increases to 100 million by 2022:- Rise in the number of manufacturing jobs. As when there will be emphasis on setting more manufacturing industries and factories, there will be a basic need and requirement for people to work in those industries.
- Increasing the GDP contributing by the manufacturing sectors to 25% by 2022:- This is an objective which will only be possible when there will be more manufacturing in our own country and this will rise the GDP of our country which will give more opportunities to people.
- Developing skills set in urban youth:- this objective was important in making the general public of the country worthy of getting a job. Skills was important to them to become eligible to get an appropriate job.
- More environment sustainable growth in the field of manufacturing industry should be idolized as making environment a priority is important to us to develop in all ways.
- Globalization:- Many more companies from all around the globe can invest in our companies which will be advantageous for both of the countries and making our industries stronger.
- Promoting entrepreneurship:- the ultimate aim and objective to make this scheme Make in India is to promote the entrepreneurship and creating an ease to do a business. For an economy a healthy business culture is very crucial. There should be more people employed by their self in their own venture and less dependence on government to give them jobs as this requires youth to get inclined towards this culture and leave the outdated traditional dependent government jobs.

Way forward:-
The make in India scheme worked really well in making this progress and improvement but there is a long way to go. Here written some of the ways which can make it more successful.
- Acceptance of business culture:- there are many families in certain parts of India who are not so into taking risks which prevent them to do business. This needs to stop. There should be more involvement of youths in building a kind of critical thinking so that they can work and start something of their own.
- Skill training:- most of the companies have seen caught up in this problem of not getting well trained and skilled employees. The best way to deal with this problem is starting educating young people about hard skills more and starting side hustles in their school and college time.
- More infrastructure:- there should be more and more infrastructure promotion in the country. This is a win win situation to each one of us. There should be more construction of tourist spaces, railways, highways and all destinations so that more people come to visit India.
- Reducing Imports:- People who are interested in starting their business can do this to first knowing what are the products which India still import from other countries and trying to manufacture such products which will help in reducing the Imports and becoming more self-dependent.
- Swadeshi:- Shopping from brands outside the country is not a good idea to do. It’s good to promote the small businesses and start-ups by using their goods and services and investing the money in your own land.
- Wed in India:- this is a recent mission which our prime minister recently talked about in his speech where he asked people who are rich and who get married in the other countries to please kindly stay in their own country and do marriage here only. This will make your investment in your own country and also exploring the places of India and many people from outside India can come and do weddings here.
