The Centre for Communication Governance at NLU Delhi is looking for interns to engage in a research internship program in an online or offline mode.
About the Centre
The Centre for Communication Governance at National Law University Delhi (CCG) is a research centre within NLU Delhi and is meant to ensure that the Indian legal education establishment engages more meaningfully with communication law and policy, and offers an academic contribution to communication policy making.
About the Opportunity
The program of work for interns at CCG is designed to build their competence around research and policy issues related to fundamental rights, human rights, and national security in the context of the internet and emerging technologies in India.
It, in turn, raises the quality of discourse in this space. Interns’ output is intended to catalyze effective research-led policy-making and consequently informed public debate as well as in-depth academic work.
Internship Duration
The internship will be for an initial period of 6 weeks. Interns will be expected to work full-time or part-time with the Centre. The period may be further extended by a minimum duration of two weeks based on their work.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work under each project will be designed by the staff at CCG and assigned to each intern on a daily or weekly basis depending on the nature of the project they are involved in.
- There will be regular discussions and feedback sessions with each intern to track the progress of their work and develop the research further.
Eligibility
The Centre welcomes applications for both full-time and part-time interns from 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year students enrolled in recognized five-year law programs; 2nd and 3rd-year students enrolled in recognized three-year law programs, and students from recognized LL.M. programs at any Indian university.
