About the Opportunity
The Criminal Justice and Police Accountability Project is looking for a legal intern for a remote and in-person internship from August 2024 to January 2025. This position is open only for persons from Adivasi, Dalit, VImukta, nomadic or other Bahujan and Pasmanda Muslim Communities.

Roles and Responsibilities
The work will involve research on the disproportionate impact of criminal laws on marginalised communities and assisting with litigation before the Trial Court and High Court.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Background in law (preference to students in their penultimate or final year of study)
- Proficiency with reading and writing in Hindi.
- Preference will be given to the candidates based in Madhya Pradesh.
Stipend
Rs. 7500 per month.
