About the Competition

The Legal Lock proudly presents the 1st International Client Counselling Competition (ICCC 2025), a pioneering event designed to redefine legal education and advocacy. Unlike traditional moots, ICCC 2025 focuses on a crucial yet often overlooked skill—client counselling. This competition will challenge participants to understand, analyze, and provide strategic legal solutions to clients, emphasizing ethical reasoning, problem-solving, and effective communication.

In today’s legal landscape, a lawyer’s ability to counsel, empathize, and advise clients is just as important as courtroom skills. ICCC 2025 provides a unique platform for law students to gain real-world legal exposure and set themselves apart in the profession.

Competition Partners:

Eligibility

📌 Open to law students enrolled in a 5-year integrated law program or a 3-year LLB program.

📌 Participants can register as:
University-Nominated Teams (through ADR or Moot Court Societies).
Individual/Open Teams (without university nomination and cross institution teams).

💰 Registration Fee: INR 3500 OR USD 60 per team (3 members).

Subject Matter

ICCC 2025 will focus on complex and evolving areas of law, requiring participants to navigate real-world client scenarios with legal acumen.

Key topics include: Surrogacy Rules, Immigration Laws, Aerospace Laws , Cross-Border Insolvency Laws , ICC Conventions

Participants must demonstrate professionalism, ethical reasoning, and strategic legal counselling skills while addressing challenging client cases

🏆 Winners – ₹20,000 + Certificate + Internship Opportunity at an International Law Firm.

🥈 Runners-Up – ₹10,000 + Certificate + Internship Opportunity.

🎖 Best Counsel – ₹7,000 + Certificate + Internship Opportunity.

🎖Best Client – ₹3,500 + Certificate + Internship Opportunity. (All cash prizes will be transferred in the winners’ country currency after necessary deductions.)
