About The Legal Lock
The Legal Lock is the first comprehensive portal in India created to streamline legal education and close the knowledge and accessibility gap. We provide a dynamic platform that combines education, innovation, and opportunity, all with the goal of empowering law professionals and students.
We seek to transform the way that law is taught and practiced through the publication of top-notch legal journals, the hosting of national and international competitions, the hosting of webinars led by experts, and the facilitation of mentorship. About the Competition
The Legal Lock is pleased to announce the second edition of the International Moot Court Competition in 2025, which is bigger, better, and more daring than the first one, which was a huge success. We are prepared to improve the experience with a more difficult problem and a broader international reach, building on last year’s event’s global participation, fierce advocacy, and expert insights. The goal of this edition is to push the limits of argumentation, research, and courtroom behavior. This competition promises to improve your legal knowledge, sharpen your articulation, and get you ready for the demands of the real world of the legal profession, regardless of your level of experience as a mooter. Mode of Competition
- The competition shall be conducted online, via platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
- All rounds, including preliminaries, will be held virtually to ensure nationwide and international accessibility.
Registration Guidelines
Modes of Registration
Participants may register through either of the following channels:
- University-Nominated Teams
Teams nominated by their respective Moot Court Societies / ADR Cells / Faculties. - Open (Non-University) Teams
Individual teams registering independently, not necessarily through a university nomination.
Registration Fee
- Indian Teams (3 Members): ₹4200
- International Teams (3 Members): USD80
